A requested deadline does not guarantee completion. IEC will confirm the next step. By default, we use the hire date for RUSH DOL registration. For regular DOL registration, we will use the date we begin regular registration, usually 2 weeks before classes are scheduled to begin. Rush registration fees: Rush fee charges are $150 for administrative cost and $700 for tuition down payment. Both are non-refundable and non-transferable between apprentices.

The above-named Sponsoring Employer ("Employer") of the above-named Apprentice, proposes to enroll (or continue enrollment of) Apprentice in the Electrical Apprentice Program conducted by the Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. ("IEC") El Paso Chapter. Employer acknowledges that IEC, in conducting the Apprenticeship Program, is NOT an employer or co-employee of Apprentice and, therefore, does not undertake any investigation or inquiry into the Apprentice's status and eligibility for employment by Employer, but IEC is obligated to make a reasonable inquiry to determine, in good faith, the proper status of Apprentice as legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer hereby certifies that it has taken measures Employer deems sufficient to establish the entitlement of Apprentice to work, including completion of the statutorily required I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documentation as promulgated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and that based upon Employer's good-faith efforts, Employer has determined that Apprentice is eligible for employment in the United States of America. The parties hereto agree and acknowledge that this Certification is made solely for the purpose of admission and continued participation in the Apprentice Program, and for no other purpose.
