IEC’s Electrical Apprenticeship Program has the responsibility to complete/graduate as many apprentices as possible under the terms of the US DOL Standards. Please complete the Release/Termination slip accurately so the apprentice can be released and continue in the program when possible.

Terminations that remove the apprentice from the program should only be used in the most severe cases where your employee violated company policy (examples may include: Drug use, Theft, quitting without notice, or without discussing a release from employment with you).

This release/termination slip must be returned within 48 hours of termination. If IEC does not receive a response within 48 hours the Apprentice will be released from employment and allowed to continue attending the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
